Week 1

Week 1

Lecture- The first lecture session of this week is talking about some of the basic of the web design and some of the principles that students may use when they finish or start their assignments. First and foremost, the lecturer let the students start to create their blogs for the lecture class and practical class so that the students learn how to observe from the inspiration. Therefore, they can create an interesting website.

The most important thing that the lecturer mentioned in the class is user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). User interface is all about the interaction and visuals such as the toggles, icons and other visual elements. While the user experience is about all the interaction with the users.

Week 1

Practical -This is our first practical class; the lecturer explains the assignment to student that what to complete in this semester for 14 weeks. Lecturer wanted student to open a blogger for e-portfolio and open a board for web design in Pinterest and a You tube channel link. Lecturer need student to find out what type of web design that student like and explain it.

I appreciate a web design that focuses on emphasizing the main character or central element at the center of the page. This design approach is often referred to as a centered or centered-content layout. Placing the main content in the middle of the page immediately draws the visitor's attention. It creates a clear visual hierarchy and directs the user's focus to the most important element.

This design is using fine art watercolour illustration. Watercolor illustrations have a handmade and organic feel. The imperfections and subtle variations in color and texture contribute to an authentic and artistic look, conveying a sense of craftsmanship. Fine art watercolor illustrations often evoke emotions and feelings. The expressive and fluid nature of watercolors can add a touch of warmth, nostalgia, or whimsy to the design, creating a more emotionally resonant connection with the audience.

I appreciate a design that incorporates an "Ins " feel and presents products in a clean manner. The "Ins feel" often involves a clean and minimalist design. This simplicity can create a visually pleasing and uncluttered layout, allowing the products to take center stage without distractions. Clean designs tend to offer a more user-friendly experience. Navigation is straightforward, and users can quickly find and focus on the products they are interested in without being overwhelmed by unnecessary elements or information.

I like this designs that using collage or montage techniques.Collage and montage designs offer a unique and creative way to express ideas. By combining different elements, such as images, textures, and typography, designers can create visually interesting and dynamic compositions that stand out. Collages allow for the incorporation of a wide range of visual elements, such as photographs, illustrations, textures, and typography. This diversity can create a visually rich and textured experience, capturing the attention of the audience.
