Lecture-

Assessing and maintaining websites are vital tasks in website administration. The review process evaluates a website's usability, accessibility, and overall effectiveness in achieving its goals. This assessment typically targets design, navigation, content, and functionality to pinpoint areas for enhancement that can elevate user experience and website performance. Regular evaluations uncover issues that could impede the website's performance, allowing for timely interventions to refine navigation, content quality, and overall functionality. Ultimately, this results in heightened traffic and conversions.

                         

In contrast, website maintenance involves the ongoing process of monitoring and improving a website's functionality and condition. Consistent maintenance tasks are essential to ensure the smooth operation of a website. These tasks include adding new content, updating security plugins and software, and monitoring user satisfaction. Monthly tasks involve security checks, plugin updates, and content backups, while weekly maintenance may include monitoring traffic and performance using tools like Google Analytics. Quarterly assessments focus on user engagement, SEO performance, and content relevance to ensure the website is meeting its strategic objectives. Annual maintenance typically involves reviewing legal policies, renewing domain and hosting services, and potentially redesigning the website to keep it up to date and relevant. Effective website maintenance is crucial for a successful online presence as it enhances security, improves search engine optimization, and enhances the website's overall impression and sales potential.

This is the About page design, presenting ichinichi bakery, our esteemed cake company. The introduction highlights the range of services provided by our company. 





The contact page intentionally offers limited details, focusing solely on how customers can reach the seller or connect through social media, aligning with our deliberate design approach. We've integrated an icon that allows customers to effortlessly access our social networking platforms, enabling them to send direct messages and share any essential information.

Week 1  Lecture- The first lecture session of this week is talking about some of the basic of the web design and some of the principles that students may use when they finish or start their assignments. First and foremost, the lecturer let the students start to create their blogs for the lecture class and practical class so that the students learn how to observe from the inspiration. Therefore, they can create an interesting website. The most important thing that the lecturer mentioned in the class is user interface (UI) and user experience (UX). Week 14

 Week 14 Lecture- In the lecture session of week 14, students showcased their work for Assignment 3, which involved designing websites for clients. Each group, including ours (Group 3 Group 1), presented the layouts and features of their respective websites. During the presentations, the website functionalities were demonstrated by navigating through different sections and highlighting key navigation features. Every student attentively observed and absorbed the presentations delivered by the different groups.

Week 7  Lecture - In week 7 lecture class, lecturer talk about the fundamentals of website layout. Website layout design is about balancing aesthetics with practicality. An effective website layout arranges information in a clear and logical sequence, ensuring coherence. It enhances visual appeal and directs users' attention to key elements. Furthermore, it contributes to branding by employing spacing, alignment, and scale strategically. The lecturer discussed the concept of visual hierarchy, which involves styling design elements to create contrast and emphasize specific content. Reading patterns, represented by directional lines, illustrate how users typically scan web pages. The fold marks the point where a web page is cut off due to screen size limitations.
